About Me

I find meaning and purpose in supporting people during difficult times with a nonjudgemental and compassionate presence.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW License # C005718). I have a Master’s Degree in Social Work and received my clinical license to provide therapy in 2007.

I have been supporting individuals coping with unwanted health challenges for 20 years. I have experience in hospice care, palliative care, family medicine and oncology.

In addition to the above, I also work with individuals dealing with various transitions, work stress, work - life balance and other challenges.

I utilize a variety of treatment approaches including mindfulness, acceptance and commitment theory and cognitive behavioral theory while always incorporating a focus on self-compassion.

You might still be curious about me … I live in the Winston-Salem area with my family. I am a wife and mother of three (if you include the dog). I will not ever be able to make life with an illness easy … but I will work hard to help you along the way.
